card game interest

about 4-5 times a year , tracy n me go to a friends house ( fellow mkt trader ) for a night of cards , , he invites a cpl of his friends from norwich , and although its a serious game , because we're all friends , there's a good atmosphere , ,,,, we usually start around 7pm and set a finishing time to suit everyone , but usually around 6am ,
around 11pm , during a hand when everyone is in and still blind , we pinch 30quid out the pot and order some chinese ,
we rotate who starts the game ,,,,,,,, and we play dealers choice , so if its your turn to deal you can deal whatever game you like , and the rest of the players can play your choice or opt out , its a serious money but laid back affair , (deal snap if you like lol , but you wont get many takers lol).
to be honest it usually ends up being predominantly 80% 3 card brag , 15 % propper poker , and the occasional silly game to break up the monotony .
in a ten + hour game , you can expect to end up anywhere in the region of 2k up to 2k down , ...... the games arnt really capped with a limit , we just play the rule that when only 2players remain , you can see your blind opponent , this keeps things from getting out of hand .
anyhow next session is tomorrow night , in leicester , so if anyone is up for a go , please pm me , and ill give you sat-nav details etc .
ps no time wasters ,,,,,,,,,,,, if your not bringing a grand to the table ,,,,,, dont bother .
