Laptop Users

My battery life to my laptop is awful, probs an hour max with it on power saving! Would a new battery fix this? How long does other peoples last? My mates is about 3 hours or so I know mine is fooked.

yep, about three hours for my macbook.
unless i'm watching live streaming when it goes in about ten minutes.

I only have a £300 E-systems laptop (purchased about 12 months ago) and I too get approximately an hour out of it, therefore its permanantly plugged in which defeats the object really!
Its good enough for poker in a comfy chair and that'll do me.

Looked on the net and apparently your supposed to change the battery once a year or so. If I get a new one on ebay it wll set me back £40 which ain't bad if it sorts it out.

Make sure your configuration is set to conserve battery power.
