It was 2,500FT, but looked like 25,000FT!!

There's a mythical pub up there that only appears once every hundred years with a Donkey Kong in. The Brigadoon Arms, I believe. Still looking. Awesome picture, too high for me.

You must be thinking of the mythical Scottish nuclear power station that only appears every 100 years - Brigadounray, I think it's called.

That's the money shot. A friend of mine, a keen cyclist, had the misfortune to be pretty much on a mountain peak near Lake Bala in North Wales. The heavens opened and the mother of all storms began. Apparently, he could see lightning flashes/arcs at eye level and below on top of this mountain. Rather scary to say the least.
Those clouds are pretty awesome. At first glance I just thought you'd taken a picture of the sea, before I saw your text. Another one for the portfolio.
