anyone for america ?

Post by trayhop123 »

right ,,,,,,,, on the 10th of june me and m8 bik are off to america ,,,,,,,,

mrs cant go as she has a hen do in spain that conflicts with the dates.

right the plan is ,,,,,, leave england on the 9th/10th june , land in tennessee , 7 hour flight aprox, change planes , fly for about an hour to a small airfield in paduka illinois , 11 miles from metropolis , for 4nights . superman convention .

this part of the trip wont be everyone's cup of tea , but you all know what a sad superhero freak i am,,,,,, and its not just about the convention , its a chance to meet n socialise with the yanks etc different foods , cultures etc .

then after 4nights fly back to tennessee , change planes again , for a 2/3 hour flight to new york for 12 nights ,,,,,, in a top manhattan hotel , only one street from macys , and two streets from the empire state building and the bright lights of times square, basically the heart of new york .

new york is the most amazing place in the world , its like london on steroids ,

ive been before and the best example would be , if you walk into the times square, branch of toys r us ,,,,,,,,,,, you are greeted with a full size fairground wheel to ride on ,INSIDE THE STORE .

now if you apply that sort of logic to the rest of manhattan , you'll sort of get an idea of what im talking about.

then you've got macys which is the biggest department store in the world ,(makes harrods look like ya corner shop) . plus countless designer clothes stores ,
plus you have to experience the hot dogs , ride in a yellow cab etc , visit ground zero etc.

then after 12 nights fly back home .

right for those that know me ,,,,,, who's up for it ?

im not gonna lie to you all ,,,,,,, if your not into superman you probably wont enjoy the first 4days ,,,,,,,,,,, but as for the 12 nights in new york ,,,,,, you'll love it.

now for the nitty gritty ,,,,,,, its not cheep,,,,,,

all flights + 16 nights accommodation (in top hotels , although self catering ) is gonna set you back

£1475..... + spending money ,,,,,,,,,( and you will want to be taking a grand spendys)

anyone interested will have to pm me and have paid the full balance to me by next friday .
sorry its short notice ,,,,, but due to the convention its metropolis busiest time of the year .

16 nights in america you wont forget .

all you supposedly top slotters lol ,,,,,,,, if you've got 2.5 k laying around , pm me.

or if you want to just call me a sad twat , go play with my action figures etc etc go ahead .

but money talks. lol

lee. :P

Had my honeymoon in NY in Dec, stayed in Hotel Chandler which is East 31st street, very close to where you are staying. Had a great time, you do need some serious serious spends though. Drinking, in particualr isnt cheap in NYC.
