As the missus has the car, I get the bus to work. No effing buses so walked about 5 1/2 miles to find 90% of people off. Should have stayed and home and played poker. I'll just waste all day on here instead.

That's the fading ethic that made our country great. Respect.

All the best, but personally I have the best of both worlds making money and having the day off today...why on earth would I risk writing off my car or killing/injuring myself to make a couple of hundred quid??

The Player : everyone is sick of you going on an on about how hard you work and how early you get up, we've got the point. Can you please not go over this point again, it's very tiresome.

Couldn't get anywhere even if I wanted too today, the snow is way too thick.

Fair enough, but why did you finish at 7pm then?? Surely the pubs are open for a good 4 hours yet...

On a related subject, one day those who work every hour God sends will realise that they've wasted their entire life playing machines and have achieved very little in terms of life experience and happiness.

I was in this boat myself several years ago and made what I thought to be necessary changes to my lifestyle, now I feel I have a good work/life balance, I do 30-50 hrs a week on fruits and that's enough for me to have a good lifestyle, for the rest of the week I see my girlfriend or mates/play sports and I wouldn't change my lifestyle for all the tea in china.
