what a showman :| anyhow, it is a great achievement.

maybe he'd get more excited by finding a bogey which is two different colours.

I always think of Taylor as the king but Barney runs him close, very fluent and deadly accurate.

Nah he is not even in the same league as taylor
Although his 9darter was brilliant
Taylor is a one off,k no one will ever even come close to what he has achieved
Btw I am going to the premier league this year for the fourth time
Anyone else?

Taylor won't be equalled, but Barney is the best of the rest IMO, Bristow is in the mix too.

Taylor uses his magic dust which he stores in his trouser pockets. Its a big secret but I just let the cat out of the bag!

Watch when he steps up to the oche for his throw!

9 darters, 147 breaks - perfect occurrences in their respective games and always great to watch, although I must say he could have looked a little less excited!!
In fact I saw Paul(?) Lim have the first world championship 9 darter on the bbc re-runs earlier today and he nearly wet himself!

Yet am I right in saying 147s occur a lot more than 9 darters?

I'm still waiting for the day someone bangs home a 155. Alex Higgins did a 16 red clearance but didn't get the maximum.

Not to go on off on a tangent, but i always wondered what would happen if someone got above the maximum break.

For example for a maximum you can get £147000 + the £10k top break prize, but what would happen if soemone got say 152, would be interesting lol.

Jamie Burnett holds the highest break with a 148 i believe, I also read Jamie Cope has had a 155 in practice, would love to see it in a tournament though.

I believe the late John Spencer got a 16 red break of 146 in a competition in the 70's.

I'm lost. How do you get a 155 break? Surely theres 15 reds on the table.
