				Arriva Bus Drivers

I doubt many of you have to catch buses these days as you’re all driving hummers and the like. Anyway I have to get the bus two days a week and this morning I waited for my bus to work and he was 15 minutes late. I mentioned nothing and sat down for my 1hr 15 minute bus journey. Anyway I got off at the other end and was going to get another bus and the other bus driver saw me and waved to me and drove off being a complete knob because he knew he could stop and let me on but he chose not to. Anyway I got back on my original bus which kind of went near where I wanted and sat near the front. I started to moan to the bus driver and he started being a knob too. He said that its not my fault the other bus driver wouldn’t stop. He then said that if I was running late to work then I should get up earlier. I replied that he should get up earlier and then he’d had driven the bus on time. This tipped him over the edge and he slammed on his breaks and said I should get off. I refused and he carried on driving whilst shouting to me and said he would throw me off round the corner. I told him he is only allowed to top at a designated bus stop. He was getting even more pissed off at this point. He stopped at the next stop and I got off and as I got off he said he isn’t going to be abused by me !!!!! WTF??? And then as I got off I called him a w@nker under my breath. He then slammed on his breaks and said what did you say !!! I just walked off and he looked at me through his little window as I crossed the road and he showed me the fist and shouted if I ever see you again blah blah !!!!
What an idiot. Talk about customer service. He had the gaul to tell me that its none of my business if he is late and he can be as late as he wants, Gonna report him to Arriva and they will soon deal with him. I hope he gets hauled in for questioning. Effin bus drivers thinks they can do what they want and treat customer like sh1t.

Bus drivers in general seem to think they can talk to people like they're something they've found on the bottom of their shoe.

I occasionally get a red bus to work as the missus uses the car and some of the things they do / say is outrageous! I've seen a tubby female driver lean out the window and pleasantly ask a car driver "What the f*** do you think you're doing, you c***!" whilst the bus had OAPs and kiddies on it?!
Another instance was a group of three guys, (who were black, I only mention this because of what he said.) who tried to get on without showing a validated oyster card / paying their two quid. He then said that the bus was not moving until they got off. They hung around for a couple of minutes before getting off and gesticulating to the guy in his little cubb-hole. Just as the door was closing, he said "F***ing N****r C***s!"
Any other business and you wouldn't even have time to wait for your P45!

Heh - we get a slightly sexy female voice coming over the speaker in the event of the bus being 'too early': "This bus is being held here to regulate the service!"

My bus service (stagecoach) is fcking atroshash (god I have no idea how to spell it??). I use them to go into town to save 4 quid over a taxi because they run so regular, but the timings are awful.
What makes me REALLY, REALLY mad, is that I am in the furthest village and indeed the last/first stop. So there really is NO excuse for the bus leaving the FIRST stop early, but it happens over and over again. It happened the other night, I was fcking fuming and mrs ran me into town, who did I pass, the bus, parked up in a bus stop on the /4th/ stop. Fcking wankers. Last 3 times into town, they have neglected to stop at my stop either (which is one before the bus station). Bunch of wankers. I think the problem is, Im always polite and courteous to these twats, I need to start treating them like the chavs and the elderly do, then I might get some respect and more importantly, allowed to get off at my stop.
And dont even get me started on trains....
 :x
We have the most expensive yet poorest level of service, public transport system in the world. God its great to be British.

Well my mate said to get over it and to turn the other cheek but I rang Arriva and they are going to track the driver down and interview him.
How can you turn the other cheek when the guy threatens you and says the next time he sees you .... A joke really is but with any luck they'll haul him and and have a word with him. They';ll probably send me two free tickets for the trouble caused.

Well i doubt it's company specific, it'll just be a case of where you're from.
One of ours is called "mad mike" and got a warning for recieving oral sex whilst driving an arriva bus in broad daylight.

He was just told never to let it happen again.
That's not actually a lie or an exaggeration btw.
