Reg Varney dies

Just read on the news that Reg Varney has passed away age 92, i was only watching on the buses on the tele a few months back, made me laugh so much i went and bought all the films on DVD, very funny man!

He still posted on the forum on Betfair until recently. As any quiz player will tell you he was the first person in the UK to use an ATM (cashpoint) in about 1968. On The Buses got about 15 million viewers at one point.

Jeez.... hold the press..Reg Varney dies.... Noted and filed along with.." Alan bradley ran over by tram whilst chasing Rita"...."Who is Mr Blobby solved!!", and "is Mel C really a bike?"...

Who cares.....come on.. yes it was great britsh humour 30/40 years ago, like the carry on films.. but its a british institution best forgotten, nowt more than embarresing now....
