i have lost the sense of taste and smell for more than 2 weeks now, i cant taste anything , i havent got a cold but i smoke quite heavy... no head injuries etc ... is it serious ? will it ever return ? cant find oat that fits on the internet , they all say as a result of a accident post-operation or serious cold none of which ive had.


i may as well be eating dog shit on toast with no butter !!! it makes no difference.

well the internet doesnt mention that ... just that it is likely i wont ever regain it !

ate a onion today for a test...... nothing absolutely nothing no flavour whatsoever so weird.

i'm not a doctor or owt, (JG) lol, but i recently have given up the fags and food taste is so improved maybe something in that?
The smell thing is a bit confusing though not sure if thats affected ?
