Bloody good if you ask me - just started using it yesterday. Degen: you can prevent all that collection of data-age.

The major problem was that their EULA used to give them ownership of everything you uploaded with Chrome. Happily, they've now fixed that bit (
details).
But it's known to be less secure than even Safari (<a href ="
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/09/03 ... details</a>), so not good.
Basically, the rule of thumb is still the same: With anything technological, be it hardware or software,
never be an early adopter, because they're using you instead of
proper beta testers.
EDIT: Eh? The URL tag seems to have stopped working!

I'll change to HTML...

That is still Microsoft's basic policy though... must save them a fortune!
If you did a general release of a car that kept crashing into other cars due to poor design, incomplete development and scant testing, you would get massively sued... as Ford found to their cost!
Ok, so as far as we know Windows never actually killed anyone...

It's
every software developer's basic policy.

And now we're allowed to patch even console games, far more people are going to have to put up with it.

Gah, the world of patching! I just want to get the game, load it up and play! Nothing worse than 'needing the latest version' but you 'have to patch to 50 previous versions before this one will work'.
I now 'only' play games on PCs, so that's probably the price I pay.
