Sunshine in the Morning!!!!

Post by mjd »

The weather up here at the moment is woeful, and the weathermen called a spotless morning till noon on Tuesday, followed by rain and 100% Cloud.

Being on flexible hours decided to tackle Englands 3rd Tallest Mountain 'Helvellyn' Standing over 3000FT tall Before work!! Took 4 hours to do the loop which is good progress. This is what I saw.........

You can see my shadow, BIG early morning light

its odd, them people on the TV nature programmes scrambling up a waterfall or something, you think 'Nutters!' but it MUST be amazing, you will be suprised from fell walking, I get hugely thrilled off it, although the pain can be immense! gotta live it! Those views are gold.

Watch out for Striding Edge as three climbers have fell to their death in the last few months alone.

its Cumbria aye.

A few people like Harry says have been victims of Striding Edge, its a very popular mountain though. I comprehensively beat the crowds on Tuesday, going in the early hours to start the climb. Stood on the summit all by myself which was an out of this world feeling :)

ha! I have no idea

Everything about that place, wonderful. If you did lose your life on Striding Edge itr would be pretty tragic, but what a way to go!!
