....i can tell you your age and what you are thinking!!!!
..........think of a number between 1 and 10 (not incl. 1 and 10) multiply it by 2, add 5, then multiply it by 50... if your birthday has already passed this year add 1758
if you've not had your birthday yet this year add 1757...
subtract the full year you was born from the total, post your answer, as well as your age, i can also tell you the original number between 1 and 10 that you started with.
( i might suggest a calculator for those not too hot at maths)

Heh, there are a few of these clever 'mathematic' based 'magic tricks'. I can never quite get my head around them. Reminds me of a lot of card tricks my brother dabbled in, whereby you'd just point to the row that the card was in, and after so many turns, he'd know the card because of the sequence. Slightly different, I know, but bloody clever. Who has the time to sit and work all these out? lol

My original number is 6.
I know that's not what you asked, but hey, you can now tell what my original number was.
So
i) Who am I? How old am I? What was my original number and what colour socks am I wearing?

well your answer is wrong in the first place
you should,( if done correctly) have finished with a 3 figure answer
the first figure is the number you started with, the 2nd and 3rd figure is your age
so your answer should have been 629
as for your socks....... i pass!
