Walking solo up a mountain called 'Pillar' tomorrow (2975FT) at the crack of dawn (taking a torch) Not sure whether to be excited or Scared.
Thing is though, it will be amazing if its pulled off, and if I keep alive I will be one happy kid! My next reccomendation is on its way, I can sense it.

Funny really, it was suppose to be nice weather, so set off in the dark. The Clouds were very low, and there were showers.. After getting above 2000FT or so the conditions were polar!
Summit
On the way to summit
Looking Towards Windy Gap - you can just make it out in the distance, you descend a fair bit before reaching it..
Wasn't much kop for views, but walking in those conditions is simply brilliant

Mate those pics are awesome - looks like you are high up a mountain in another country there!
Didn't realise we had any snow left on the peaks - thought it had been quite mild recently and melted it all away! Wish we had some hills for me to trek up here

The Dangers of snow climbing though are very real

With all due respect mjd, can I kindly point out that once you pass the age of nine, if you look out of the window and see snow you're supposed to say, "Fuck that, I'm stoppin' in."
Good pics though. A shame you didn't build a snowman up there and take one of that!
