Yep, i think West Ham probably deserved to win. That said, all of their goals had some sort of luck invloved (OG, keeper spill and a cross that somehow went in) whereas Liverpools were all top quality (through ball and volley, fantastic finish, and a 35 yard screamer).
I think if Gerrard hadn't played, West Ham would have had it bagged. Best cup final i've seen though, had everything!

Hard luck Fader, UEFA cup next season though! :D

I agree, that was sooo unfair. Bloody penulty shoot-outs. There has to be a better way. How about a panel of judges awarding the win in the event of a draw? ;)

im so sick!

you can claim luck, but a team needs to be putting players under pressure to score them own goals - and its by no means luck about 4 teams have done that against us now...

there gerrard goal come from a a> a free kick that wasnt a free kick, riise jumping on the floor and b> scaloni's crap pass from the ball back from liverpool on the foul -

liverpool were looking for free-kicks all the time after the break, and were getting them - i didnt rate the ref atall, but your gonna say its cause im a west ham fan...

you cant really say we scored THREE lucky goals, otherwise we can pick the holes out of every goal

i knew we wasnt gonna win even 2-0 up, its why i didnt post on here when we did score - its like god himself was on their side tonight

as i say im focking gutted, we wanted it more, we were stronger, quicker, better and fitter - and i think its a disgrace we should lose like that - but hey thats the way it is

who saw pards greeat comedown with the chest?? :)

I saw the end in the clubhouse. Don't really care who won because I only support Fulham and England. It looked like a great match though. I am glad Steven Gerard scored his penalty and he lifted the cup because his confidence will be high for the World Cup and England.

after that match both teams deserved to come out of it with something but at the end of the day there can be only one winner.
