Takes the p*ss doesn't it considering how much they charge!!!
I'd say 75% of pubs my way are substandard pints.
Now the pubs that do Bud on tap are absolute quality :)

if i'm gonna drink dancing chemicals i prefer English ones. i will only drink carling or fosters (British-owned)

but i've had so many flat pints lately and i only kick up a stink if i can be bothered. which is my bad.

Whats your cost in your local?
Mine is £2.45 for carling
Another pub not too far is £1.65 for Fosters, It's directly opposite spoons so there's a bit of a price war.

I thought i was hard done to paying £2.70 for a pint of stella (the most expensive beer around here) but some of you fellas are paying more!

Totaly agree with this thread the quality of beer has seriously gone down hill! unless the barrel has just been changed its hurendus!

Especially in the weatherspoons around here!!

They are cheap tho the old weathers! especially on a monday! Stick with the bottles

Agree about the real ale - theres a brewery about a mile from me as the crow flies. Their stuff is beautiful, and only £1.95 in my local - or £1.50 monday to wednesday!

Not keen on a lot of the bottled larger brand real ales though (speckled hen etc) - I find a lot of them to be very dark, slightly too gassy, and often very weak in taste.

favourite pint at the moment is Hawkshead Bitter - 3.7% its Light, and a total glider with a spot on taste!

Theres my Style ale review.. not very good i know
