Auto Logon

Post by admin »

I know a few of you have to manually log in each time you visit the board, I do as well. I need to find out if it is a problem with the board, or just some internet explorer settings..

So please vote in this poll..

Heh - not a very conclusive poll at the moment... :(

I do notice now though, that when first loading up the main page, it doesn't display the number of new posts since last visit - although it does after viewing a couple of posts and then going back to the home page... ?? Not the biggest of issues, but thought I'd point it out. :)

I never used to have trouble, but over the past month or 2 i've had to login every time. Just as a suggestion, would it be worthwhile moving the topic to a thread that is viewed more often, and by more people, to give you a more accurate picture of how widespread the problem is??

Good idea, will move it to the lounge as a sticky for a week or so.. Forgot about this thread myself!

On a side not, my laptop at work always manages to auto-login, but my home computer still refuses.

(On my home computer too) I have other sites that sign me in straight away, it appears that Fruitchat is the only stumbling block.

I just had to log back in again for the first time in months. :) I'm assuming that's something to do with the fix though, as I've not had to do it again.

Mine too now. Firefox. Saves my username and PW so its a minor, but it still requires me to go via the login screen every time.
