Been raining heavy here in Hull all day now. Lots of the main roads are impassable, and the water is slowly creating a pond in the garden - just hope it doesnt manage to get into the house!
Whats it like where all of you are?

Yes, been listening to the radio most of the day in the office and there's lots of flood warnings being issued. There's been hard down pours here todayy on and off, but bright spells in between.
It seems over the last couple of years that "March Winds and April Showers" has shifted itself back a few months...

Got several road closures round here due to flooding and theres no rivers or lakes anywhere near me it's just pure rainwater. Hasn't stopped all day.

I believe there's some kind of ancient rain ritual being performed somewhere in SW19.

A bit of rain and the country's fucked.
All farmer's field's round here are 5/6ft under, quite weird to see it actually.
I took me an extra 20 mins to get home which is not that bad.If it keep's up though the road's will not be passable.

That's a bit unfair. It was one of the wettest mays on record, and June is shaping up as one the wettest Junes ever too. Add to that there's going to be gale force northerlies tomorrow, and summer is most definitely on hold.
Can't offer any hope of anything remotely decent until the middle of next week either, so another week of crap to put up with i'm afraid! :x

i think they should get out the sludge gulpers !!!
suck all the sludge and muck out of the drains and let the water run free, we would all be fine then.
