Been raining heavy here in Hull all day now. Lots of the main roads are impassable, and the water is slowly creating a pond in the garden - just hope it doesnt manage to get into the house!

Yes, been listening to the radio most of the day in the office and there's lots of flood warnings being issued. There's been hard down pours here todayy on and off, but bright spells in between.
It seems over the last couple of years that "March Winds and April Showers" has shifted itself back a few months...

All farmer's field's round here are 5/6ft under,quite weird to see it actually.
I took me an extra 20 mins to get home which is not that bad.If it keep's up though the road's will not be passable.

Yep, Kendal has loooaaaads of Shops! so she should be pleased.
Ive limited experience of Kendal, Only really been when I was younger, But Went to Kentmere a couple of times over the last year, A nice mountain range near Staveley (outskirts of Kendal)
I hope the weather improves! Going camping next weekend

That's a bit unfair. It was one of the wettest mays on record, and June is shaping up as one the wettest Junes ever too. Add to that there's going to be gale force northerlies tomorrow, and summer is most definitely on hold.itsme wrote:A bit of rain and the country's fucked.

Can't offer any hope of anything remotely decent until the middle of next week either, so another week of crap to put up with i'm afraid! :x
