OK! This site has become a bit quiet, this post probably wont take off, but its a new post, so something new to look at. And it will also give an idea on what kinda stuff makes you laugh etc.

My favorite comedian is Lee Evans.

He does this part where he is talking about carrier bags, he points to the audience (meaning women) and says YOU KEEP THEM!!!! then goes on and says theres bags in every drawer! you open up the drawer and they lunge out at you! bags within f*cking bags! lol
I know it dont sound funny written down, but a Lee Evans fan will know what im talking about.

i like tim vine, i know he's a buffoon but those emails you get with supposedly tommy cooper gags, most of them are actually tim vine's. i was invited to go on his show when channel5 first started but i chose a different one. anyway he gets my vote.

Can't really look far past Peter Kay. Both his stand-up vids have me in stitches no matter how often I watch them. Phoenix Nights was pure genius too... Steve Coogan / Alan Partridge is sheer class too, but he is more of a one-show circus.

As for favourite "straight" actor, Christoper Walken.. only seen a few of his films, but he can play a very realistic psycho. And that "weapon of choice" music video was something different.

Tim Vine had a stand-up at the Edinburgh festival where he just told gag after gag after gag (is that his style). I'd have loved to go, but the tickets all sold out.

Yep, Tim Vine.....famous for telling the most jokes in an hour. King of the pun and one liner.

Remember that gameshow he hosted called Whittle on c5? Going back a while now.....

My fave is Tommy Cooper by miles. Brilliant comedy. Spoon jar, jar spoon! Gets me every time  :D

each to their own, i agree. i am the only person i know who doesn't think ricky gervais's dance is even remotely funny

i won £300. here's the deal: i'll put some 100% on youtube if you put some countdown. deal? having said that i have no idea how to put vhs onto mp3 and onto youtube.

Ricky Gervais's dance is cringeworthy which is the whole point of The Office. Everything he does lacks taste and class. Beats alternative comedians who just swear a lot. Another of Reading's produce (although he was born elsewhere)

Favourite actors. Jack Nicholson,Clint Eastwood, Malcolm McDowall and Vincent Price. By no means the greatest.

Sadly, I don't have it on video (although my da does). I do, however, have a crumpled photo of myself, Carol, Richard, Barry and that frumpy harridan Susie, as well as that weeks' contestants. I'll gladly stick that up.

Meanwhile, post me the video and I'll work something out.

Peter Kay without a doubt, i've watched The top of the tower 5 times and still can't help but laugh at the same jokes!

That guy is a legend!

Ok... as promised...

Image

Sorry about chopping off Barry and Susie... this is actually a photo of a crumpled photo, so apologies about the quality.

I never got any fanmail. :( although some old woman did stop me in the street and ask me if I was on countdown, so that was good enough for me.
