Just spoke to his ex girl friend on msn and its true he did jump from the bridge 2 weeks ago. Im so so so fucking sorry to be the one to break this news to you all! Nudges was a complete ledgend of fruitchat and will always be. rest in peace mate

I don't really know what to say :x
Many people on here (myself included) got the impression that while kev seemed very down at times, i never thought anything like this would happen. I thought he cared for his son Joshua too much to do anything like this, but clearly i was wrong. They may say suicide is cowardly, but i think we all know on here that the guy was 110% passionate and wore his heart on his sleeve. While me may never know what caused him to do this, we can empathise wholeheartedly. The chance to meet the guy in person at xmas was coming up. Now it will never happen.
RIP Kev, legend of fruitchat whose name will never be forgotten.

RIP Kevin. Cant believe this has happened. Did not know you personally but always enjoyed a chat and a game of poker or two. My sincere condolences go out to al who know and love him.

Dont know what to say guys what so ever. It kind of puts things clear and really makes you think about life and what the best pathways are. I think if anyone has a problem what so ever they should speak to someone and share it im so sorry guys and girls..........

My condolences go out to his family and his son too, he was a great guy and will be missed around here but never forgotten.

I just swallowed extremely hard, that's not the sort of thing you expect to hear about mates on here. Thoughts to all friends and family.

Truely distraught at this loss. Although not an active poster on Fruitchat I visit the site at least 3 times a day. Kevin was always active on this board and part of this community. Although I never knew you in person I feel the loss more than could be imagined. I hope Joshua can get through this and be strong. Kevin you will be missed by all. RIP

Very sad news. I wish I knew the the right words to say how sorry I am to loose someone I'd say was a friend. I never met Kev but it is really sad that he is gone. Anyone know when or where the funral is? I'd like to send some flowers or just go along and give him the respect he deserves.
But why the happy face?

The funeral was about a week ago at hometown of stevenston. His tombstone should be there in about 6 months time. Im thinking of buying him a Rangers Top with NudgesUk on the back and leaving it there.

When I first joined this board, I never got on with Kev. However, as I got to know him through these forums, I got to know him and realised that he really was a good guy.
