whats funny? screaming kids or teenagers with attitude aside being a teacher is not a bad job

£32k a year starting pay, i think?
easy hours
and how many paid holidays during the year!

sure you could easily suppliment your wages doing runs with all your time off

Have you got much recent classroom experience? Most unis wont even consider you unless you've spent plenty of afternoons in schools...

Also i'd make sure if you do apply to schools that you get a very good cover story for the 9 years you've spent away, even if it means complete fabrications/lying, as schools are very old fashioned in the way they think, i had 3 years with a gap and they were all over it.

But if you're the sort of person that can deal with it then go for it, the prospect of never having to work in the summer is appealing

For example.......

If I was earning a grand a week(I'm not, nor do I come on here bigging up the fact i am) would I really give a fuck about earning £30k a year as a teacher and after deductions take home £500 a week? The answer is no.

The same as if U asked the average man who is earning £500 a week in whatever job, whether he'd like to earn £1k a week playing fruit machines working wherever and when ever he liked, would he jump at the chance? Why yes he would!!

It boils down to the fact that 99% of players ain't earning such money which is surely why the likes of urself are looking elsewhere for more guaranteed income?

Now shoot me down.......

its not the money that matters, i can make a grand a week more if i want to. I just got to the stage, where i need to grow up, do something that is acceptable in the eyes of normal society. ive had fun dont get me wrong, along the way.....going to casinos, eating out everynight, shagging strippers, hookers, escorts, sniffing coke.

Having money to flitter away on tv's computers, phones....you think that makes me happy. no it doesnt .

I think id be more happy, get up go to work, have a family, have a pension, some security to offer a family.

yeah i prob will still play machines, fuck it maybe i might not like work and go back to it. but cant i at least try to make a go of it .

I'm sorry but I don't believe you can make 'more than a grand a week' if u want to.

That's the equivalent of a normal job paying nearly a £100k per year.

Didn't u post something about wondering whether ur mortgage payment had gone out as the reason for ur card being declined? Yet you claim to have a 6 figure bank balance in another thread?

you think i keep a six figure bank balance in a current account, i only have a 2000 pound credit card limit. but i dont need to justify my financial situation. The people i have met me i.e Lee, cant justify this, fuck it i will even take you out for a week if you want, and give u half the profits. i dont like to keep being doubted. i dont care what ppl think, im probably stupid to say stuff on this forum, its not bragging. its just a place to write about ur life. id rather u just say, good luck with the application ...hope u do good mate.

I do wish u well if ur looking for employment, we've never had cross words maverick, but numerous people have doubted ur claims before.

Maybe it's me, but if I was in the situation you claim to be, with 6 figure bank balances and easily earning a grand a week, the last thing I'd do or even consider doing was looking for a job that pays such crap money compared to what u claim to earn.

To me it is about the money, I get by on fruits and that's about it. Yes u have ur peak times when things are great but most of the time ur fighting it out with fuck knows how many others. It does get to u when u find stuff done over and burnt time after time.

But despite all the shit that goes with what we do, statistically the average working man would leave his job tomorrow to earn a grand a week tax free.

I sincerely doubt the average player is even close to that figure. More like half of that.

If u r then then good luck to you. And good luck in what ever path you choose.

Why not give up playing for one day a week and do a bit of voluntary work. Honestly makes you appreciate that you have got it easy compared to others.
