Passed my test a few months back. Sick of my shitty Hyundai. Looking at a Ford Fiesta Zetech Blue. Playing buddy has a Ford Focus ST 3, which guzzles the fuel, however is very comfy and very fast.

I'm shit at cars, done 12000 miles in 4 months, so looking for something good on fuel, but doesn't take 3 hours to get from 0 to 60. Any suggestions?

Looking at spending 5-7k.

Anyone want to buy my Hyundai Getz 1.1 :p heap of shit but only got 37,000 miles on the clock.

Seems like there's a few knowledgable people on here.

Thanks,

Rob

Im the man for cars! Had TINY driving a £80 volvo for a year! Only had to replace the tyres in 80,000 miles! Bloody thing only did 60mph though! Fell asleep once and got woken up by the clown trying to do 70 in an attempt to blow it up!

Honda civic sounds good. Other half was using Bio Diesel in his 407 until it blew up, put me off ever using it. JG has a nice car, can't remember what make or model the beast is, but it's blue.

If you are going for a players car (small so easy to park, cheap on fuel, handles lots of miles)a Golf GT TDI is definatly a good choice. The later 170BHP MK5 model is a better drive.

BMW 120d h/b is also good for fruits,or even an Audi A3 TDI isn't a bad choice. All these are reliable, cheap to run and easy to park. You can get a decent, newish one of any of these for the high end of your price range and they will all drive like a ferrari compared to your Getz.

Found a lovely A5 on the Autotrader website.
EN10 OBS 2.0 Coupe

£8,000

Too good to be true?

Of course it was!

I got an Email after enquiring only to be told it was in Spain & would be sent from Cadiz on payment completion.
Yeah right!

The company in Birmingham it was linked to went to a fax line, and after I got the right number via google, the guy confirmed it was a con. "The guy has stuck about 30 cars on my site!" he says.

My mate's got a 1.9 diesel punto, really nice car, decent MPG, nippy, or do you want a bit more for your money than a punto?

Need a new one soon. My A3 is a good workhorse but I want a change & fancied the A5.

My A4 I want to trade in for a newer one but I like the V6 engine a lot, however it'll still have to be a drop-top.
