Why are magpies so noisey

Is it just me or are magpies fucking noisey. Every morning they wake me up and it's just getting to much. One will start making some churping noise then another one would churp the same thing back, it's like a game of noise tennis at 5am. Any help on what to do would be greatfull

Newcastle fans can be rather noisy
Seriously though???? Pellet gun? even fire off a warning shot or 2.

Air rifle should help,make sure you get them in the head though!

double glazing closed,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and a large electric fan to keep you cool ,,,,,,,,,,,,, far less barbaric than the scum :P above have suggested
