So some scumbag shoots at a copper, they fire back and kill him. So some morons riot and loot the place and the police stand around and do feck all about it. Anyone on here unfortunate enough to live round Tottenham way ?
I thought the funniest line on another forum was "The only shop not to be burnt down was a KFC".

On a serious note - the BBC London news tonight reported on looting and disorder in nearby Wood Green - and chose to illustrate it by showing the inside of a smashed-up arcade, complete with a Rainbow Riches laying on the floor; the rio cabinet having been smashed to bits and all the contents robbed.
Now as much as some may enjoy hearing that, I am failing to see how looting shops and burning buildings down can be considered a form of protest against the shooting of a member of the public who himself had just shot a police officer.

They're just using the news as an excuse to smash things up really.

There was an ex army guy on sky news who said
'basically none of the people involved are scared of the police'
'imho the police should be bringing the army in and using water cannons and rubber bullets'
Fair point
I don't quite understand looting whilst rioting
At what point do you stop standing up for what you believe in and decide life would be better with a free radio alarm clock

Get the army to use water cannons and the rubber bullets.
Fcuking old bill stood there and did nothing.

did you manage to get yourself a new t.v then G? That was a joke before you wanna pop a cap in my ass
it's a shame we don't have 'feds' over here as I'm sure they wouldn't have hesitated in letting a few stray rounds off in the general direction of the looting scum.

It's just a bunch of thick chav wankstains doing over off licences and cars for a laugh. They have shit lives because they've f**ked about at school and got no qualifications, and now they're crying about it. The cameras are rolling and they're loving it. I feel nothing but embarrassment for them - truly pathetic excuses for human existence.

Opps look like I've hit a nerve there. Actually posted before I read your post G.
Since I don't know you, it wasn't a personal dig, but I still stand by my OP.
