Reminds me of when a representitive of Human Resourses came down to our office last week. People mentioned flawed pay. The same response as always 'I will put the issue forward' do we ever get a pay rise?????

Why's it Tony Blair's fault that you had to pay £20 to get your tusks seen to?

There are still NHS dentists about - just not many. There's so much more money to be made in private dentistry, so everyone is doing that these days. Can't say i blame them either!

Only thing is, is that its priced me out of the dentist for now. I haven't been for 3 years, so god knows what theyd say about my teeth! As far as i know they are fine, but without all his expensive poking and scraping devices, i don't really know! :D

I haven't been to the dentist since I was about 17, I know I can't put off a visit for much longer but I'm very concerned about the amount of work that will be involved, and of course the resulting cost (and pain!)

I try and keep my teeth in good condition, but I fear fillings could be involved.... :(

Its Tony Blairs fault as he has ruined the country.

My ex girlfriend cant get a job anywhere in the country as a fully qualified nurse due to NHS cutbacks.

Petrol has risen 39p since Tony Blair came into power.

And he banned hunting with dogs. So I cant take my dog ratting anymore - ok big deal but its still something me and my mates used to enjoy

Further more students (which many of you are) now have to pay £3k per year to study for a degree to support this country.

I'm not racist or anything but you only need to know what is going on with immigration to see all the problems going on there.

Seriously do you not think that the country has gone downhill in the last 8 years?

Although I love this country I cant afford to live here and I think the UK has gone down the pan so next september I am emigrating abroad myself. Along with over 1 million others which did the same thing in 2005.

Good point Dibble.
I have been a London boy most of my life and when the Olympics come I can't see how the crappy tube can cope with the people. I am stuck behind Rail Replacement buses SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO OFTEN you would not believe. Labour does a shit job and Livingstone is an idiot but he did what he did to make money so we could get the Olympics.

I voted for Michael Heseltine when he was still an option but who is there now? I am a member of the Conservative Party but I don't see any leaders there now. At the LibDems Ming Campbell seems to know what he is on about but his party is full of old men and young idiots who argue about anything unimporant so long as they can get on Telly. Labour is just arrogant and the Tories are trying to get in Power by cloning pre-Thatcher policy.

Labour want to get rid of the Royal Family.
Her Majesty and her Family cost each tax-payer 62p every year and provide 68% of the country's foreign money. People moan about this but what would they prefer to spend 62p on each year? What can you buy with 62p? And would it make your currency 1.916 to the US dollar?
Labour has got this wrong for a start and you all know about the Wars and all the sleaze they get up to. I'm so angry I'm going to bed but if any of you have elections soon STAND FOR YOURSELF or if you cant be bothered vote for who you support. If it is Labour get a job then guess again.

Erm Politics is my thing. Sorry ;)
No wonder I drink!

To be fair to Blair he did bring in minimum wage, human rights act etc. I'm by no means a fan and have never and will never vote for his Labour. There are no real alternatives though. Campbell is a complete joke, he's trying to get the young vote by acting non-conservative. Not that Labour are much further left than the Torys now anyway. And the Lib dems will never be a threat with the current voting system, it's too disproportionate.

Where abouts does she need a job? We have care homes around the country that are crying out for Nurses.

So much so we have to bring them in from abroad as we just can't get the staff here.

I agree that Tony Blair is partially responsible for things going wrong in this country, but I'm sure if the Tories had stayed in power things would be no better.

The only parties I would consider voting for now would be the Liberal Democrats, SNP, Greens or  Tommy Sheridan's mob, the SSP ... sorry to harp on about it again but I could not bring myself to vote for any party which wants to continue inflicting the suffering on Middle Eastern countries simply to suit their own, or their allies, nefarious desires.

She wanted to work in Gloucester JAC, but the two nearest hopitals to us are closing (winchcome and Evesham) so everyone has been transfered there.

10 May

Gloucestershire Health NHS Community Trust announces the closure of a string of community hospitals with the possible loss of up to 500 jobs to help tackle a £38m deficit.

People will always find things to moan about though. I reckon if the Tories were in power then everything would be worse than it is now....

It's also unfair to blame Labour for petrol prices - which are generally out of their control. I have seen that prices should start to drop again in the future, so hopefull we are at or nearing the plateau in petrol prices.

I can't see that happening in the near future. BP have temporarily shutdown their Alaskan plant and the price of crude oil shot up to a record high as a result. It is extortionate how much tax we pay on petrol (more than anywhere else in Europe), but you're right, it's not down to Blair per se, it's just that motorists are the easiest target. If I ever get my hands on that Ken Livingstone fellow though...

Yes not now, but maybe in 2 years or so. Hopefully some form of peace will come in the middle east, and we'll get a fairer deal. Petrol isn't that expensive (It costs like 6p a litre in Iran), but because we are a wealthy nation with high demand, we get held to ransom. Better relations and when OPEC finally agree to increase output should see a fall.
