Language
Language
Just a quick note regarding swearing on the site.
The mods will mostly leave it be as most of the bad language on here is comparatively mild, but can everyone just keep a check on the language they are using please?
This is not yet a major problem but it is one that needs adressing before this site loses its civility and becomes Superarcadia. I don't really relish the idea of editing or deleting hundreds of posts but I will do if I have to.
The simple rule is: use your common sense when posting.

Still kicking about.

I personally would adopt the same stance that football referees tend to take.
If a striker misses an open goal from 6 yards and yells "F**K", then he shouldn't be admonished for it. If he swears abusively at another player or the ref, he should be sent off.
Similarly, if someone is describing flinging £200 into a Hot Shot machine and not even getting a hold, then I would let them away with a few effings and blindings. But if it's used abusively against another member of this board, or in place of the word "very", then I'm all for censorship!
