Nice one Mr Lugsy.
iPads are in a category known as tablet computers. It does seem to have a bit of a cult following at the moment, although tablet PCs themselves have been around for a few years. I used to work in a computer shop and we sold Paceblades as far back as 2003. The Apple iPad has certainly made the tablet PC a household name. More people are aware of it now.

that would be an ipod touch mate lol.
and yes it is a giant ipod touch, and i can not support flash but can have similar things to flash.
these are jailbreakable so you can get everything free, games, apps, songs, everything just like an iphone.
and if it has a microphone on it you can turn it into a phone anyway.
heres a bit of info for everyone with iphones or whatever.
on an iphone you can do a thing called jailbreaking where you get everything free from a program called installous which is the same as app store but you dont pay.
if you jailbreak it you can get a source called ultrasn0w which unlocks it to any network.
if you have updated to a firmware 4.1 or higher the shops and markets can not unlock them for less than £80 but you can "flash the baseband" which give is a ipad modem firmware allowing you to jailbreak and unlock it yourself for free (not many know this)
there are vids on youtube of how to do it.
there is an app called viber too thats the same a skype that allows you to phone other iphones with viber for free through the internet on your phone or through a wifi connection.
you can get this on other devices which basicly turnes them into phones.
if you have any questions about jailbreaking iphones or ipod touches or whatever just send me a pm and ill try to help you out.

Does anyone still use MS Office outside of work?

I thought it was all about OpenOffice.org these days. OpenOffice to MS Office is what Firefox is to IE.
