hmmm , ,,,,,,, not really convinced that 3d is for me , other than novelty value .....
watched avata at the cinema in 3d , and to be fair the effects were very good , but at the expense of the brightness (everything goes dark) and the colours are kinda muted , and sharpness goes a bit blurry .
whereas in 2d blu ray at home on my 58inch full hd plasma ,,,,,,,,,,, its simply stunning
i suppose i'll convert eventually and buy a small bedroom model ,,,,,,,, at least you can adjust the brightness to compensate for the glasses .,,,,,,,,,,,, not rushing out for one yet though.

yeah and does anybody know what's the smallest size these come in ,,,,,,,,,,, because would consider replacing my bedroom tv for one . its currently an lg 1080p 26inch white tv and the ps3 looks superb on it ,,,,,,,,, so it would have to be good to replace it
thing is , i spoke to someone in currys who said , the small sets arnt coming in till next year.

Decided against Samsung and went for the Panasonic 50". Collected today and juat sampled 20 mins of a Christmas carol 3d, very good, highly recommended.
