I read about this some time ago, but what I can't understand is why you "have to have the new EPG"? The old one had the add channels menu option and it seems to have the same options.

That didn't affect me as I only got HD a week or so ago. ;) Hmm, wonder why then?

I just tried it on my standard sky box in the bedroom and it only picked up a couple of channels on that frequency.
I assume that the other channels (including ITV HD) are flagged to be hidden and the new EPG somehow bypasses that.
If thats the case it could disappear at any time if ITV decide you can't have it.

T'is true. I'll be honest and say I didn't know that you 'couldn't' get it on Sky anyway?! It was only that I was watching the Chelsea game and went looking for it... ;)

you can haggle with sky .i've had half price sports for about 3 yrs. every time our sky sports is about to run out the mrs rings them to cancel(you have to do this because they'll automatically adjust the ammount they take out of your account to the true price after the trial) ,they ask why you are cancelling and she tells them she thinks it's a bit pricey for the usage we get from it(basically i only watch raw, smackdown and a couple of footy games) they always say we can have it for another 6 months half price. we got it recheapenned(W.U?) only a couple of weeks ago so there.

Cheers Matt V
I have just done this for the Man U/Milan game

Works fine as you say much better than the shitty blurry picture i was watching
Surely no one still has the old EPG?

I have had Sky HD since the week it was released
Mine updated to the new EPG months ago
In fact nearly a year

Was good last night mate, indeed! I too watched it on ITV HD. Was also hoping to get up there this weekend with a few fellow fans from work, but I can't arrange transport / babysitters, etc. (Only got the chance to go the end of last week!)

It will be interesting - we usually have a bit of a laid-back approach after a big European night, but hopefully we can get something from this game, what with Lolpool coming up in a week or so!

'lolpool'

looking at the papers this morning it seems as tho raffa's time may finally be up! Such a shame as he continues to entertain me! Can we not start a petition up to keep him there! He truly is comedy gold!

But what makes me laugh is that some Liverpool fans still want him there! Despite his terrible signings torres aside of course stupid tactics ridiculous team selection and general fuckwitness in interviews! Oh but wait..... That's the American owners fault isn't it?

Fact: liverpool have not improved their position in the league since Roy Evans left, flukey champions league win aside they are nothing but a mid table side with gerrard(who should be in jail) and torres!

Imagine what those two players must be thinkin? Somethin like 'what the fuck are we still at this club for?'!!!!

Keep raffa in!
