As there are a few Only Fools and Horses fans on the forum I was wondering whether this has been etched into your busy diarys?
Quite looking forward to it myself, for those who don't know when its on - tomorrow night (Sunday) 9.00pm BBC1.
Probably be shit now!

Yes it is HN.
Its written by the OF&H writer, isn't it? Can't see it being too much worse than some of the shite which gets aired nowadays.
Won't be a patch on Shameless though....especially as the new series starts this Tuesday - 'AV IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a big fan of the other spin off with Boycie and Marlene, but i'll deffo give this a try, Looks like Nicholas Lyndhurst is playing Freddie Robdal from the clip i just saw.

Yup, I'm going to give this a go... Green Green Grass grew on me very slightly - I didn 't give it the time of day at first, but there's still a few gems there. Hoping this'll be better.

Is this a one off episode or series does anyone know?

Hmm, just checked on my sky menu and there's no 'Series Link' or any clue in the preview text. What do those letters in the top right of the yellow bar mean? There's a 'S' there, which may mean Series, or Subtitles? lol

well ,,,,,,,,,,, first impressions ................. its not a complete disaster , and there are a few nice nostalgic nods , i dont even have any complaints with the actors ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
but the most obvious problem is the path the've chosen to take , by presenting us with a drama with very mild comic overtones at best ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
this wouldn't be so bad as a stand alone bbc drama , but the problem is its based on what is widely considered to be britain's best loved comedy. so fans expectations are set so high ,
in short ,,,,,,,,,, its simply not funny .
a few years back (for those that remember ) they tried to do the same with last of the summer wine (first of the summer wine ) ,,,,,,,,,, at least that was injected with the same trademark humour.
maybe its not meant to be funny ,,,,,,,, an maybe im missing the point ,,,,,,,,,,,,,
but for me , a complete wasted opportunity ,,,,,,,, for what could have been ( with comic direction ) a great revitalisation of a comedy classic ,
3 out of 10
