I, like Sue Denim, (lol!) tend to stick to the Carling or Fosters, depending on what is available at the location. Prices here vary from £2.20 right up to £3.00 for a pint!

I do like to tuck a few pints of various cider in between also, sometimes a crisp Strongbow, or sometimes something a bit more mellow.

Pear Koppaberg (sp) is also a choice drink now and again.

Kronenberg Blanc is just death in a glass... :(

Not trying to out do you Oak.

However, my eye's nearly popped out of my head when I once got two single vodkas and red bull (they poured the one can between the two glasses), for over £30 in Stockholm.

ahhh indeed, stockholm is world wide renowned for over priced alcohol, 'off licences' or their equivalent are often MORE expensive than bars, simply to cut down on anti social drinking.

difference is in england we NEED the drink to make most of our girls look half decent ;)

I work (PTI Soton Airport) bar and we charge £2.71 for Carlsberg Extra Cold. Which I guess is quite steep

The greyhound in marlborough does an excellent selection of belgium lambic beers, if you are ever passing through on your travels.

For added humour, if you dare, kick the fruit machine in the ladbrokes lightly.
