Thing is tho, why do players think that they should 'get away' with this sort of behaviour - legally I mean. If you were caught doing that walking down the high street on a Friday night, you'd be up for doing a short spell...

take a leaf from the recent results of most respected role models in sport...

RUGBY PLAYERS0 the ones who are built to do the most damage are the most admired in sport...followed by cricketers..

maybe a spell in a french fort would do him good..

now another story has emerged saying he called him "the son of a terrorist whore" and zidanes mum is ill in hospital so i dont care what anyone says if he said that to me id have done more than nut the prick

But how do you prove it? Just one word against another except Zidane has actually headbutted the guy.

How does he get punished? He has retired from football so a ban is no good, just a fine? That isn't going to affect him much is it.

is very true...hard to prove..

thats the thing today some of these people are getting more powerfull than the game itself..ban them for say 5 clubs games..will still get paid and they do fuck all for 5 days a week anyways so a few more wont hurt.

yup your right matty, just read on yahoo news while checking mail that they have had a lip reading expert look over the footage and "son of a terrorist whore" is looking very likley..

like to say that if totally independant of it that is is good enough proof..

hardly a role model is he...

still the french will make up for it in the rugby next summer...few LEGAL stampings in that
