we've been talking a lot about skils late'ly in another post

and with this in mind , i dont think its all down to timing / hand eye co'ordination and the like ,

i think another problem exists , call me crazy , but colour pigments

let me explain , ive hit harder and faster skils consistently over the years than on the busses , but on the busses , stumped me , pure and simply because i couldnt see it , i think it was because there was just too much red on the real , and butlers pink blended with the red symbols so well i simply couldnt pick it out with my eyes , let alone try to hit it ,

basicly if i can see it , i will hit it


in my opinon ,cash buster (2nd chip) , money money money empty , first reel stop( yes i know you could hold down red bar , but when you didnt get the set up , you could just hit it) and others i cant remember , were as fast , if not faster than butler , but i had no probs hitting them ,

so what do you think , ? is there something in what im saying , about what the human eye can and cannot pick out ,,,,,,,,,,

could see the butler, was slightly brighter colouring. X marks the spot was harder, try and see that damn coconut.... I found the only way was the squint your eyes in such a way as to make the reel visable ( i.e. see all the symbols go round), I'm sure some of you may know what I mean on this one, which only applies to super fast sns type skills.

Yep the old rapid blinking technique. Used it for a red reel match on a £5 4 reeler with bells on 3rd and 4th. Only bloomin' nailed it for a Mega (4 bells = mega). Skillz. Pity it usually rolls on for £25/£35 counterparts.

rapid eye blinking works with that s##t ,but don't be surprised if you get treated like a sap if seen doing it ,used to to it on reel match on club explosion 100jp ,proper pressure (although quite visible)and ...erm reel ghoulettes and stuff,
another quirky little trick is to hum loudly while staring at a red alpha(party times are especially good) try it ,it's ace.not sure of the actual playing advantage involved ,maybe gives you a skillz multiplier for a couple of minutes.
