I've had a quick look.

Initial impression seems to be that it's about as much of a con as those phone in quiz thingymies.

Each bid costs 50p, price goes up by 7p.

Maybe I've missed something, but the 'price' is fairly irrelevant isn't it? I must have missed something. Seems like a total con.
