i once added a small rock to that [buggered if i can remember the correct name for a mountainside collection of boulders agglomerated by hikers] on scafell pike. it is nice to see a picture of it again. cheers MJD :)

MJD, am i right in thinking that the tallest are:
SCO ben nevis
ENG scafell pike
WAL helvellyn

if so i have climbed them all. mind you that was before i smoked like a chimney or drank like a fish. still it is good for the CV and kudos to my folks for dragging me up those bastards. if not then my parents led me a merry dance when i was a nipper and they are off my Christmas card list.

just at the moment i haven't got the get-up-and-go to climb the stairs in the underground but that is my bad. good stuff MJD.

ah that's the fella. my bad. iirc snowdon has a little cottage half way up. there was a joke shop for kids like me and a boozer for my parents. i probably got a lemonade and a bag of salt&vinegar. and a whoopee cushion which is still giving a "real bronx cheer". happy days :o )

the day after me and my bro went to llangorstat (i'm sure that is spelled wrong) railway but we went across to anglesey for LLANFAIR...GOGOCH which fascinated me even then. i'd like to do it again if i wasn't so frightfully unconditioned

I like the racing one's.
I took a few at Wetherby a few week's ago, i transfered them to the computer.............then........had major problem's with the pc, had to wipe the lot. Never mind, that's my excuse to the missus, to go back racing and get some photo's.
