England

Post by milk monitor »

I'm quite surprised to see that nobody has raised the double victory on Sat. Fifth 3-0 win in a row leaves us on the brink of Euro qualification and a gritty match in France knocks out the hosts, and puts us in our second rugby final in as many tournaments.

As an English man living in Wales I find this very satisfying. Particularly as Wales suffer another to the hands of the Cypriot lylo salesmen and ice cream men.

Indeed! Saturday was Fantastic! England beating Estonia (as expected), Leeds winning the Super League Grand Final, then that great win for England putting out the french, defying the odds again!

Awesome day, and a lot of beer went down!!

The scheduling of the Super League Grand Final was a bit odd, wasn't it? Going head-to-head with an England football international and a Rugby World Cup semi-final surely doesn't mean great viewing figures.

It wasn't until late on Sunday that I even realised that it had been played!
