all set for a big night out last night to sheff arena to watch kasabian and the fratellis then a dreaded phone call off a mate.......dont bother going its called off.i rang the arena and they confirmed the guitarist was ill.

that put me in a mood last night.........aaarrrgghhhh !!!

must be gutting to hear that last minute.. Unlucky. Is it being rescheduled?

i hope so but this is the 2nd time they have cancelled.ive also read that kasabian are wanting to play bigger venues.they did earls court in london,16,000 capacity,and they were not happy with that.sheffield arena is only half that size and was the last gig of their tour....me personally...i dont think they will re-schedule.

at last... the gig finally went ahead last night at sheffield arena. no frattellis though,think they got pissed off with all the cancelled events kasabian had. back up band was called "the music", didnt listen to these just got blind drunk instead before the main event came on.

kasabian.

great show,great songs,great band, can see now why they got the best live band award.started with shoot the runner,the arena just went mental.the last song was my fave,lsf,this just took the roof off..mint. :D

if you get the chance to watch them live then go for it...ace 8)

Was it at Hallam Arena? That holds about 14,000 if i remember last time i was there, not a bad venuw at all. Plus kasabian are immense! 8) :D

The music are fucking amazing mate.

It's a shame you didn't give them a listen.

One of the best none-mainstream bands around.

yeah hallam fm arena. i wish i had listend to "the music" now. ive just heard a few songs and they seem to be good.quite like the twang aswell.

seen them in December at MEN in manchester, the best live band ive ever seen, cant wait to see them at glastonbury and v festival this year

i went to watch kasabian they were great. the best live band ive seen for ages. i liked the music but the front man was trying to be abit too much like ian brown for my liking.
