remember a hi fi store in chester near me had a sign outside saying something along the lines of:
Best deals on hi-fi
cracking prices
come inside
as it was only printed on sheets of A4 a few edits and it soon became
Best deals on
Crack
Come inside
stayed for ages, business probably better than ever

Round my way there's a flower stall on the side of the road informing passing traffic:
"Flowers from 1.50 or less"
Whats all that about?

There used to be a small village Texaco garage in Norfolk with an enormous dayglo sign at the front announcing:
"OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK EXCEPT SUNDAYS"

On an ironic, pedantic note, don't you mean misspelled?

Not really related, but on the trains round here, they have signs which say "please do not put your feet on the seats". People have scored out various letters so it now says...."ease your feet on your seats"
