Possibly Hard Knott Pass

Probably the biggest test of any car, especially on the way down the Brakes get absolutely butchered!! Scary place

Its a quality and insane road, its a two way road! passing places limited! its such a huge rush..
I was scared that my brakes would go! if they did id of had it

Its quite near Scafell Pike, you go up towards Ambleside and turn off towards Little Langdale or 'Wrynose Pass' carries on to Hard Knott pass, rises over 1000 feet. Its where the cumbrian mountains begin, and immediately start to get serious!!

My friend drove his Automatic Toyota Corolla up there (quite an old car) we could smell burning once we almost finished the descent!

Not the place you want your brakes to fail at.. if they do you've had it!

Cant see the rise, but with the low below us you can imagine how steep it is!!
