Cannot believe he threw the towel in when he was 4-1 down against hendry, feel sorry for the people who paid too watch and the people who backed him too win the tournament.
I for one will never back him too win again he's just so unpredictable.
I think this could spell the end, he obviously aint interested anymore. I think he will retire like george best did in his prime. A real shame cause i think he could win a couple more world titles at least.

Same old shit again, as regular as clockwork. I stand by my comments here. I'm at the second semi on Saturday and I, for one, am glad I won't see my money wasted like those at today's quarter-final.

On what basis is it hardly the same Eddie? I watched Davis/Hendry last year at York and it was bloody great - two masters of the game, with 13 World Championship titles between them, against each other. Both suffered flak in their respective 'prime time' years for dominating the scene but have grown, ironically, to become extremely popular since (especially SD).extreme eddie wrote:Apparently you could watch the Dott Vs Davis match for free instead![]()
Hardly the same.
Davis is turning 50 next year but remains in the top 16. Will Ronnie O'Sullivan achieve this? The short answer is no.
I don't like watching Dott he is the worst world champion of all time in my opinion. his world final against Ebdon was very dull to say the least, as for Davis i think its great he is still playin to a good standard at the age of almost 50.
the point i was tryin too make was if i had paid too see a match between the greatest two players of all time bar none i would be a bit gutted too watch Dott Vs Davis.
too put it another way, one side of the curtain its
Cliff Thorburn v Terry griffiths, and the other
Jimmy White v Alex Higgins
I know which side i would sit.
