Seeing as though this is the quietest day ever...

...in the office, I'm looking at:
We have 1999 registered users
to see who becomes the 2000th member.

Sad, very sad...

It's going to be a real sickener if s/he turns out to be a bot. ;)

Could well be a bot, at one point we were getting around 20 bots a day. I have installed a filter now, but some still get through.

anyone know whats happened too some off the members, the reason i ask is cause a friend of mine has joined and he says he tried too log on and could'nt. so i looked for him on the members list and he's not there,
also noticed there is only 1678 members now when there was well over 2000 at one point, has somebody deleted them?

every now and then admin gets rid of 0 posters to clean things up, usually a warning put up for a few days to prevent people from getting deleted if they don;t want to

All the users that were deleted were "bots" - lots of them. If any real users were deleted they had never logged on.

If anyone you know signs up, tell them to drop me an email (admin1 at fruitchat.co.uk) with their username and I will be sure to activate their account.

Its getting very difficult to filter out the bots now, i would estimate for every 10 new users, 8 are bots - despite the numerous mods ive made to the signup process to try and combat them..

Cheers.
