I got the Galaxy S II on Monday and its a quality phone....probably the best out at the moment by a long stretch. Took a while to get used to since I'd had my 3GS for a while and the lack of auto-correction annoyed me until I downloaded a free app.

The sad thing is, people will always opt for Apples latest offering no matter how much better a competitiors phone is because its 'cool'.

Probably the same people who buy all their games, dvds and blurays from HMV, along with their books from Waterstones knowing full well these items can be bought for less from a supermarket. Fools.

Those who choose to shop in brand name high street shops, buying products which they know they can buy cheaper elsewhere just to look 'hip' and feel as though as they are part of the 'in' crowd are foolish.

If you do that yourself Betch, then yes, you are foolish. Not stupid though.

You come across as decent, well informed, intelligent person in your posts and owning an iphone doesn't make you a fool either. Not really. Thats a choice. A way of life for some.

I got this way before all the others “caught up". So maybe I'm stubborn n believing anything is as good. Alot of apple apps are freed too ya know!

Betch, you're a Yorkshireman (I presume), you don't do change!!! And believe it or not, I almost told the missus she can have the Galaxy S II and to get me a 4GS when she renews her contract next month because the Galaxy was a tad fiddly at first.

Love my I phone 4 never had a problem ever with it unlike every other phone I've owned. Nokia being the worse.
