Has anyone else been following this series?
We are no on series 10 and finally the man of steels costume has been introduced to us, omfg what a lame way to introduce this iconic costume.
Has anyone else had any thoughts on this. Ffs knitted by his mum oh come on 10 frigging years ive been waiting for this.

ok , in the original comic she did knit him it ,,,,,,,,,, but it wouldn't survive him flying through walls etc ,,,,,,,,,,,, so twas later changed to being super strong material from his home planet krypton ,,,,,,,,,,,,, but theres the dilemma , if it was that strong ? how would you puncture it with a knitting needle , in order to make it???? doh ,,,,,,,, in some versions of the story it was simply a full costume that was put in his spaceship by his father jor-el

you have to take a lot of comic lore , tongue in cheek.

for instance spiderman in all versions up to the film ,,,,,,,, fired home made web shooters ,,,,,,,,,, a marvel exec said they had to change it for the film , because how were they gonna convince the public that a 17 year old science student had devised an adhesive that world famous manufacturer 3m couldn't come up with.

seriously though ,,,,,,,,, despite being one of the biggest superman fans in england (who else do you know thats sad enough to travel to metropolis illinois in america for the convention ? owns over 3000 comics , plenty of toys and a 6ft3 lifesize resin figure imported from germany , not to mention the tattoos)

i dont buy into the smallville tv series , its simply low budget bollocks , like lois n clark before it ,,,,,,,,,, low budget drama , with the odd bit of cheesy cheap special effect action .

give me the comics and films first.
