I managed to watch very little of this, but from what i saw it looked a good concept, very darts like with the singing/shouting/banter, and the feed back i've read from fans and players has been good, i'm all for it, it takes all the slow play out of it and Ronnie will take some beating at this format, and he's the player most people wanna watch, roll on the next one.

the times has a very good item on this today by matthew syed (who i don't normally like).

ultimately he is against it but gives a very good reason why he thinks it will catch on.

but we already have pool for people who don't have the patience for a proper game.
