More than just that annoying kid, I can't think what convinced the advertisers that this would 'sell Frosties'!!??

It would've looked out of place in the 80's let along the noughties!!!

And what's the betting that somebody somewhere has made a flash game where you have to kill that kid in new and interesting ways!

Not sure if it would directly make you want to purchase a box of Frosties, but it's certainly been talked about a lot, even if the talk generally centres around wanting to murder that kid! The many rumours on the web and angry threads in just about every forum will attest to this, and after all they say that any publicity is good publicity!

I have also wondered if the advertising guys had a brainstorming session to try and dream up the most jarring advert possible in order to get some attention to the brand, or if they genuinely thought it would appeal to people?

Depending on the answer, I'd guess they were either all sacked on the spot, or given a hefty bonus!
