STAND BACK ,,,,,,,, DUNT DUN DUNNNNNNN
CAPTAIN DISCIPLINE WILL SETTLE THIS ARGUMENT .
seriously ,,,,,,, law or no law
i once had a £15 up n over repeat until empty ,,,,,,,,,,,, had to be switched off ,,,,,, cos every credit was a guaranteed repeat ,,,,,, ........ not just me , im sure a few of our other older members will have had the ultra rare unlimited repeat session too ,,,,,,
a fuck up ,,,,,, granted
but proves it has been done ,,,,,,,,,, and thus makes a mockery of the law.

But there was no law governing maximum repeats back in the £15 days.
Let's face it, the vid in question was due to a fuck up in the program, now £70 machines should be coded not to repeat on the jackpot more than twice. Of course that doesn't mean to say it can't happen again in the future!!
No doubt some if those lo-tec video barcrest machines get so far behind %age sometimes that the two repeats on the jackpot could and should come close together. Because they are pretty much £500 machines in disguise anyway and are a shoddy way of avoiding the category restrictions.

Should?
You'd think £600 on 92%, approx 2k played through that a £440 drift might buy you at least one 'guaranteed' £210. If it can't be guaranteed due to strict adherence of the law, wouldn't it have been nice to offer it me as soon as drift was £210?
Ok, so you don't want people playing to £210 and then killing the machine, so you have to put super drifts in, to make it so scary, only the most hardened gambler would consider it and then you may as well play roulette.
No, like you say £500 machines basically. May as well be random as well.

surely ,,,,,,,,,,,,( and this is looking at it from the manu/gov perspective ) ,,,,,,,,,,, if and when the government approve the next pub sector jacky increase ,,,,,,, to say £100 or whatever ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, surely they will have to switch to randoms and do away with percentage based machines altogether . .........and blow us all out overnight ???
obviously i dont know the legal in's n outs but ,,,,,,,,,,,, im shocked the've let it go on as long as it has , what with all the aggro we have given them over the years .
im not complaining ,,,,,,,,,,, afterall i make a very decent living ,,,,,,,, and want it to last as long as it can ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, just confused
bottom line its a business
if i were the man in charge ,,,,,,,,,,, i wouldn't want professional fly's in my ointment ,,,,,,,, and would blow us all out overnight in one fell swoop.
not complaining ,,,,,,,,,,, but why hasn't this happened already ????

"It's an Olympic event where you throw a sort of saucer..."discuss
(One of those 'classic' exam answers given by a pupil once...)

Anyway, as mentione above, if things did all go random overnight, that would be the end of it all. Not like the usual chatter that comes about when a stake/jp raise is suggested, it would be THE END...

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
