Is it just me that cannot stand the media stupidity that seems to now be standard on Transfer Deadline Day?
Bored journalists seem to be obsessed with standing in the cold outside clubs' training grounds relaying wild, unfounded speculation back to TV studios who then repeat these claims at on at least 8 further occasions in the next five minutes of broadcasting.
'I can exclusively reveal that I've just finished making-up yet another transfer rumour', they should be telling us.
Whatever happened to reporting facts? Or am I just old-fashioned ...

Well for me, it's made the day at the office go quicker!
I love all the: "My mates' Dad who works in the canteen in the building next to The Emirates, saw a car pull up and a character get out who looks just like <some footy star>" comments that you get on 606.
Not very exciting though this time to be honest, although West Ham could've done worse than get B McCarthy...

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
