Mmm you do have to be carefull when getting a cheap HDMI though
Some are a lot inferior than more expensive ones

Granted you can pay £80 yet get the same quality for £20
I got mine as a deal when i bought my 50 inch full HD Plasma
Its worth £90 alone, got it free with the TV when i bought it online

You can tell the difference with some, but you can get budget ones that are just as good, if not better than certain expensive ones
Best googling 'best cheap HDMI lead'

As for Christmas
I have bought her 2 pairs of Ugg boots £160 and £95 (sale)
Some Jean Paul Gaultier perfume at £60
Also an Iphone 3Gs
And other bits

some may be inferior ,,,,,,,,,,,, manufacturing wise ,,,,quality/duff plastics etc,, ,,,,,,,,,, but the signal is digital ,,,,, so the picture quality wont change one iota ,,,,,,,,,,,, whether you paid a tenner or a grand.
Little discipline = BIG issue

Oh yeah mate, dont get me wrong, had i not got that free one i would not have been paying loads for one

Also when buying one only get more than 1 metre if really needed
You can pay more for a longer one when there is no need

The only benefits of more expensive cables are, it seems:
Build quality. It might last longer.
RF shielding may be superior, preventing possible interference.

Certainly not worth spending any more than £20 of your own money - as you say digital signal is either there or it isn't!

I have got for her now

Bailey button Ugg's
Argyle knit Ugg's (in the sale)
Jean Paul Gaultier perfume

I was gonna get her a pair of slippers and a vibrator

If you she didn't like the slippers she could go fuck herself
