Should have been an instant purchase for me based on the quality of the previous 3 albums (especially Origin of Symmetry), but I wasn't too keen on 'Supermassive Black Hole' (with it's Britney Spears beat!), and I've heard that most of the new album follows this dubious new direction.
Can anyone that's heard it help to sway the decision?
I don't really like it. I used to like Muse a fair bit in their halcyon days of Absolution.
At the moment there isn't a great deal about. The PSB new track 'Minimal' is superb. Keane's new album is ok, though patchy in places. The Zutons are superb as ever. The kooks are a bit overhyped i think. Snow Patrols new album is a cracker.
I also await Razorlights new album. In The Morning was an awesome single. Just been playing Prince - Fury......anyone heard it? Sounds like a better version of 199 to me! His guitar playing is quite exceptional.
