Post by mjd »

What an amazing fight that was!! I cannot beleive it! It was an unreal display from Joe, WE SALUTE YOU!! Ive been up since the minor dissappointment of Manchester Utd losing out to the Arse, to SEE THIS!"!

Ive had 18 pints of ale, and still buzzing to bits from that Calzaghe performance! INCREDIBLE!!!!!! :) :) :) :)

People say Joe fights people when they are past it, but Jones spanked Trinidad last year, so he still has some go left in him. Joe just has too much guile, handspeed and ability. Undefeated, and along with Lennox Lewis, our greatest ever boxer i reckon. Legend.

Hope he retires undefeated. Deserves a knighthood, honestly. Inspirational. Doesn't need to break the Blockbuster's record.

He does deserve knighthood. He's fought 46 fighters and never been beaten, amazing record. I did worry when he got knocked down in R1/R2 (Cant remember which it was, forgive me!) But he came back like a true champion and was dominant!

Joe doesn't have the one-punch power of most other fighters, but his workrate is unequalled. Who else throw 900 punches and it still dancing round the ring in the 12th? His punches and work and hard enough to batter Roy Jones' eye, and he's never been cut before in his whole career. Bravo Joe, you beat the arse off the guy. Retire now and become an undefeated legend. As for another fight?

Roy Jones Jr - Rematch in Cardiff. Unlikely i think.
Bernard Hopkins - Highly thought of once more after demolishing Pavlik last month....but seems a pointless and risky rematch, plus he fights dirty.
Mikkel Kessler - Again another rematch, can't see it happening.
Chad Dawson - Undefeated and probably the most worthwhile person to face at present. In his prime and if Joe beats him, then he's done the lot. Again it might be worth just not bothering and retiring into greatness.

Hope Joe takes out Chad before retiring, just for the fun of it.
